By the Republicans losing the House, it might now turn out to be to their benefit. If the Republicans kept control of the House, the Democrats would continue to obstruct any thing the Republicans would propose. Now that the Democrats have control in the House to set the agenda, they will have to come up with legislation and not just resist. They will have to work with the "hated" Republicans in order to get their proposals passed, otherwise nothing will get past the Senate. It would be political suicide for them to do nothing with the power they have just acquired. If they're smart, they'll work with Pres. Trump on projects that both can agree on like infrastructure, lowering drug costs, border control etc. Let's see if commonsense reigns within the Democrat Party or will they continue to put their heads up an anatomical opening where the sun doesn't shine.
