Chuck on the right side
THIS IS A BLOG THAT TRIES TO APPEAL TO THE AVERAGE CONSERVATIVE CITIZEN AND HAS NO AGENDA OTHER THAN TELLING THE TRUTH AS WE SEE IT.
This, in a nutshell, is what's behind the principle of Socialism. The left-wing liberals are constantly crying that our capitalist, free enterprise system creates an uneven playing field whereby some people do better financially than others. Is this a bad thing? The Socialists, using the sin of envy, support taking money away from the successful and giving it to the less successful, it's a redistribution of wealth which Obama proposed. In their minds, they think an all powerful government creates prosperity while companies and corporations create poverty. Yet, they can never name any Socialist/Communist country that has become economically successful. In fact, the only countries they can point to are ones that are economic basket cases, namely Cuba, Nicaragua, Venezuela, and most poverty stricken countries in Africa and Asia.
You'd think the pitiful record of economic disaster in those countries would move Democrat politicians in the the United States to champion free enterprise capitalism, but just the opposite is true. Democrats continue to propose a slew of socialist proposals and programs hoping that all the “FREE STUFF” they are offering voters is going to turn into votes for them come election time. That late former oracle, Sir Winston Churchill, once opined that “You don't make the poor richer by making the rich poorer”. But, that's what the Democrats keep on proposing is that they will do just that if they keep on getting elected. There never has been a better economic system created by man, to relieve poverty than that of our capitalist, free enterprise system, handed down to us by our founding fathers. Of course, there will always be people who don't prosper or take advantage of what our economic system offers due to various problems such as, disability, illness, drug and alcohol addiction, and plain laziness. Our system has been the “shining light on the hill”, and that's why so many people around the world want to immigrate here. The problem we face is that our immigration laws are written so poorly that we are now being “invaded” by people who are entering our country illegally. It has been exacerbated by the present Biden Administrat ion who have, in effect, left our border wide open to all who want to taste the benefits that our country has to offer. We have given incentives that the illegals have taken advantage of, by the millions. This has caused a major problem in our country of having to be a humanitarian country by admitting people who, in the main, are taxing our welfare system and causing havoc in many of our states and cities. The Democrats have been eerily silent as the immigration system spirals out of control. Biden and his spokespeople, continue to claim that the border is closed, DHS Secretary Mayorkas and his press spokeswoman have continued to spread that lie, even in the face of video pictures showing a steady flow of illegals crossing into our country. In addition, a steady flow of illegal drugs continue to be smuggled into our country, practically unabated, especially deadly Fentanyl, Heroin, and Meth, which last year accounted for over 100,000 deaths, mostly among our young people. The Democrats seem to be geared up to punishing the successful people by over taxing them, and over regulating them (a form of punishment) instead of trying to give financially strapped people a hand up rather than a hand out. Our economy, after Trump took office, had been on a roll by creating an economy that was the envy of the world. That changed when Joe Biden and his administration took office. Biden, through incompetence or just plain animus toward Trump, canceled most of the beneficial policies that Trump initiated. As a result, we now face an economic recession and a supply chain crisis along with an inflation rate of 7.1%. Do we really want to adopt the “snake oil” that the Democrats are pushing by trying to give somebody something by taking it away from someone else? Let's continue to try to make AMERICA GREAT AGAIN, a position in the world we held before the Biden Administration took over. Conservative Commentary by Chuck Lehmann

According to the “Woke Police”, you must adhere to the unproven, and scientifically impossible idea that a male can become a female and a female can become a male. If you deviate from that absurd idea you will be ostracized, ridiculed, vilified, and in some cases lose your job.
Among some radical elements in our society, it is the “Cause de Jour” of the day to promote radical “transgenderism” and mutilation of one's body in order to change the irrefutable fact that there are only two sexes, male and female. Of course, there are some people who feel more comfortable in identifying as the opposite sex, but the truth remains: you can't change “Mother Nature” and your DNA just because you 'feel' you are not who you actually are, but instead someone else. The militant transgender activists want you to believe that it is normal for people who want to pretend to be the opposite sex have that right. And yes, they have a right to have their warped thinking be whoever they want to be, but they can't change who and what they really are. When these radical transgender activists try to force their views and ideas on minor children, it becomes a medical case and a political issue that seems to get traction in the radical liberal left. Is it right to operate on and try to change a minors sex, with or without a parents consent, before the age of consent of that individual? Should a boy or girl be subject to hormone therapy or medical castration on the whim of some misguided parents or transgender social activists? The answer should be a resounding “NO”. I'm sure we all have known some boys and girls who had the mannerisms of the opposite sex, but in many cases those young people outgrew their mannerisms and led normal gender lives as a male or female. Some girls were called “Tomboys” and some boys were considered “effeminate”, but in most cases they didn't try to change their bodies to accommodate their inclinations. Today, these transgender social activists, are openly trying to make normal the physical transformation of a person's body to that of the opposite sex. This group of social activists, with a liberal orientation, are the one's who are pushing this flawed idea that females can become males and males can become females. We should not be bullied into thinking that you can change “Mother Nature”. You are what you are and not someone else. We should have laws that state that a person under the age of consent (18 years) should not be the subject of hormonal change therapy and actual physical body mutilation. Once those procedures are carried out, a person cannot change the outcome. It should be considered child abuse and subject to criminal or civil penalties. That is not censorship or depriving someone of their civil rights, it is just plain old common sense. It is estimated that people who fall under the category of “transgender”, is less than one-half of 1 percent of the population, but seem to get most of the positive press and public relations among the “Woke” community. We must not give in to this crazy pretend theory of life. You are what you are and not someone else. Conservative Commentary by Chuck Lehmann The most significant accomplishment in Biden's legacy so far, has been to change the "B" in BS to Biden. For all intents and puposes, the 'butchers' calling the shots in Biden's
administration have been honing their hatchet job weaponry by partnering with the liberal media, to relentlessly attack Donald Trump. After more than 7 years the 'butchering' has yet to subside, in anticipation of Ron DeSantis' run for president in 2024. The image of DeSantis' beautiful family and record of outstanding governorship, will be a target and dilemma for the left. How will they deal with it and how will the right respond? The Republicans could once again lose sight of who the enemy really is and approach the challenge disorganized as usual, in attempts to keep the crazies from staying in power. Upon hearing the former president's intent to run again in 2024, AG Merrick Garland readied his hammer and sickle and newly manufactured nails to pound them into the crucified body of Donald Trump, in revenge for payback in preventing his nomination to the Supreme Court. Thank God, his nomination failed! Hopefully Trump's grade school, playground tweets, will be a thing of the past, if nominated, and his focus will be on defeating the administration whose policies are leading our country to tyranny and destruction. Whoever the nominee is, the objective is to return our country to its founders' creation with proposals and Amendments, that will enhance the quality of life for all Americans. Conservative Commentary by George Giftos I thought President Trump's policies during his term in office were the best in my lifetime. Unfortunately though, times are rapidly changing. By the year 2024, in the next presidential election, President Trump will be 78 years old. Perhaps it just might be time for new blood to lead the Republican party and our country. The Republicans have a host of young, dynamic faces who could effectively lead our country back from the devastating aftermath of Biden's disastrous domestic and foreign policies.
Yes, President Trump did a masterful job in confronting and exposing the “Deep State” that is entrenched in Washington D.C. , but the power of those unsavory “Deep Staters” was used as weapons to deprive Trump from being reelected in 2020. The power of these “unelected” bureaucrats, especially at the Justice Department and the FBI, was used to undermine Trump's campaign which they failed to accomplish in 2016, but not ones to take defeat lightly, they successfully regrouped to thwart Trump's reelection in 2020. Their perfidy in electing Joe Biden, and his Marxist/Socialist policies, which might take us years to undo all the damage his policies have impacted on us negatively. So, if not Trump in 2024, then who might take the reins of the Republicans? Let's start with 40 something Governor Ron DeSantis of Florida, who was just reelected governor in Florida by an almost 20% point margin over Congressman, and former Florida governor, Charlie Crist. It was a tremendous political whipping not seen before in Florida. In addition, in the Republican Party, to name a few possible candidates, there are very attractive presidential hopefuls such as Governor Kristy Noem of South Dakota, Governor Glenn Youngkin of Virginia, former Governor Nikki Haley of South Carolina, and Senator Tom Cotton of Arkansas. All are committed to “Make America Great Again”, which is the motto of President Trump, but with little or no controversy that comes with a Trump nomination. The reason I bring up these possible contenders, is that I believe President Trump has created too many negatives and bad feelings among both his political enemies and some of his fellow Republicans, thereby making it a difficult win in the general election in 2024. Even though his policies were proven greatly beneficial to our country, I think his personality, manner, and his penchant to fight both enemies and fellow Republicans, would make it difficult for him to pull off a victory. In other words, we need new blood to head our great nation. We can't afford to let the radical Democrats remain in control, and the irrevocable havoc that would entail. Just recently, before and after the less than positive performance of the Republicans in the 2022 mid-term elections, Trump made some unfriendly comments about Governor Ron DeSantis, who Trump sees as his major rival for the Republican nomination. He also has been at odds with other Republicans who have criticized him on occasion. Instead of trying to find common ground with his critics, he has resorted to demean them. That's not how to win friends and influence others who could help you. People are fed up with all the drama of us against them, which the Democrats are adept at and seem to get away with, but seem to hold the Republicans to a different, higher standard. President Trump had a good case of election fraud that was used against him in 2020, but by circumstances, good or bad, he lost the election. It's over and done with and nothing will change the outcome - as they say, life is unfair, so you've got to move on, which it seems Trump does not want to do. People, in general, do not like whiners, which Trump seems to have become. It's the future that's important, not the past. It's amazing that with the country with the worst economy in 40 years, and the country in turmoil with crippling inflation, that the Republicans couldn't win control of both Houses of Congress? It seems that they, as usual, grasped defeat out of the jaws of victory. For all the good things that Trump was responsible for, I do think it is time for new, younger leaders to guide the Republicans in the future. The names mentioned above are people I think would make a Republican election more possible in 2024. With all that said and done, if Trump is the nominee of the Republican Party, I will vote for him, but I'd rather see a younger, more personable person, without the baggage that Trump carries, get the nomination to raise our chances of taking back the White House in the general election in 2024.
