There are certain absolutes in our lives like what is up is up and what is down is down, but not in today's crazy environment of “pretend”. We are told to pretend, by the lefty loons, that boys can be girls and girls can be boys (regardless what your DNA shows); we are told to pretend that we are witnessing a peaceful protest when in the background of the reporter reporting on video, a business is being torched and burned to the ground; we are told to pretend that the biggest threat to the United States is not Communist China, Al Queda, and/or ISIS, but man-made global climate change (Pres. Biden actually said that); we are told to pretend that the Keystone Pipeline is a threat to our environment, but transporting energy by truck and rail is a far safer way to transport oil and gas in spite of dangerous spills as a result of accidents that might and have occurred; we are told to pretend that the invasion of illegal aliens coming across our southern border is not a crisis but just a “challenge”;  we are told to pretend that raising the minimum wage by government decree will not cause low-skilled workers to be unemployed as a result; and we are told to pretend that spending trillions of dollars for infrastructure in a bill that spends just 10% on real infrastructure, is a necessary expenditure.  Do the liberals (a/k/a Democrats, Progressives, Marxist/Socialists) really think that most of the citizens are stupid and naive?  The answer is yes they do.

In this topsy-turvy world we live in, you must wonder how people in authority can be so wrong on practically everything that is political. A good example of that is during the four years of President Trump's term in office, no matter what he said or did, the knee-jerk reaction of the Democrats and the news media was that it must be bad, even if it was good for the country.  They wanted us to pretend that President Trump was evil and shouldn't be listened to.  Now that we have President Biden in office for just six months, the Democrats and the news media want us to pretend that whatever Biden and his administration has done or is doing is peachy-keen and good for the country.  No mention is made of the various crises that have come about at the southern border, the unrest in the Middle East, the lack of many children not attending in-person schooling, no real condemnation of the wild accusations by the Squad (Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, and Ayanna Pressley along with admitted Socialist Bernie Sanders) claiming that our democratic republic is a “systemic racist country”. They want us to pretend that everything Biden has done or is doing is the way to go and good for America.

How much longer can we pretend that everything done by the Democrats is good for the country and that everything done by the Republicans is bad for the country?  Shouldn't common sense raise it's head and take hold of the silliness of the pretend world the anarchists want us to believe in?  If we continue on this path of pretend we will become the antithesis of what our Founding Fathers gave us, “a democratic republic if we can keep it” (a quote by Benjamin Franklin). Pretending is O.K. for young children, but we must advance in the realm of reality of being adults and see and say what is true, and not pretend that nonsense is the real thing.

Carbon dioxide is not a pollutant, on the contrary, it makes crops grow faster, feeds plants and trees, who then turn out oxygen for us to breath.  Someday the world will wake up and laugh when people finally understand the entire pursuit of economic ruin in the name of saving the planet from increasing carbon dioxide, is in fact a terrible joke.

Temperatures have fluctuated over the past 5,000 years, and today's Earth temperature is below the average of the past 5,000 years. A modest amount of global warming, should it occur, would be beneficial to the natural world.  During the Medieval Warm Period (between 800 and 1200 AD) when temperatures were 7° to 9° F warmer than today, there was a great increase in prosperity of mankind  -  and Greenland was actually green.  Contrary to environmentalists, the polar bear population (which they claim are an endangered species today due to global warming) has actually increased from around 5,000 in the 1960's to over 25,000 today.

The idea that you could run America on “solar”, “wind”, and “bio fuels” is laughable.  A gas-fired plant occupies about 15 acres. The 300 foot wind turbines affect 106,000 acres which destroy scenic vistas, and kill thousands of birds each year  -  just to provide expensive, intermittent, insufficient electricity.  The silly claims put forth by Joe Biden and his energy czar John Kerry, that alternate energy can provide continuous, economic and reliable power, shows a complete ignorance of reality. The “Green New Deal” is a good example of nonsensical environmental interference in our lives. 

Whenever you hear that a consensus of scientists agree on something (a claim put forth by that environmental fraud, Al Gore), reach for your wallet, because you are being scammed. Science is ever evolving and not “settled science”.

Once we accept the principle that carbon dioxide emissions should be monitored, controlled, and taxed, we open the door to the most invasive kind of bureaucratic meddling, and all the “carbon cops” who want to stick their noses into every aspect of the way we live our lives, like the kind of car we drive, our holiday destinations, our pleasure boat, or even our transportation miles accrued in buying your food and groceries, it becomes a virtual bureaucratic nightmare.

The global environment is likely to be damaged far more by misguided attempts to reduce our carbon emissions than would be caused by man made global warming, even if it were real and continued unchecked.  Nobody believes a weather prediction 7 days ahead, yet we are being asked to reorder our entire economy based on climate predictions 100 years hence  -  predictions that are not supported by scientific evidence.

Although the court of public opinion weighs climate change as a very low economic priority, the media continue to relentlessly accept and vigorously promote shrill global warming alarmist predictions. 

Although, the most extreme environmental zealots may be relatively few in number, they have managed to gain influence by exploiting the gullibility of scientifically illiterate people who are only too willing to believe the planet needs saving from man's excesses.

Do not believe the doom and gloomers, they have a financial interest through their grants from naive governments and left-wing foundations, to continue on their unsubstantiated quest to institute their Marxist/Socialist agenda in the United States and around the world.  Don't be a sucker for their “snake oil”.

It is refreshing to know that an increasing number of  black Americans are disaffiliating themselves from the Democrat party and the progressive lies that have been fed to them for decades. They are leaving the urban plantations and returning to their conservative roots, realizing that rich, white elitists consider them too stupid to stick up for themselves and beholden to their victimhood status. No longer will they quench the elitists' egos and illusion of humanitarianism. Racism is colorless, and used as a weapon to silence whomever dares to reveal how minorities have been manipulated by these whites.

The infiltration of a new breed of Democrat is subverting the ideals that made 
liberalism attractive to the downtrodden classes and used by them to promote their intent to guide the country into socialism. A plan long in the making, indoctrinating our youth by academia, telling them what to think, rather than teaching them how to think.

Playing the political game, these new Democrats are marking the deck to gain advantage and deal from the bottom of the deck; so apparent in the last presidential election that has given them control of the three branches of government to do more damage, by adding two more liberal states, packing the Supreme Court and eliminating the filibuster, that will hammer the nails into the coffin of a bipartisan government.

It blows the mind to think how some people are so easily duped, when all the usual promises offered by these charlatans are never materialized and they keep sailing on the same boat of despair. The navigators are today's robber barons, a/k/a the big techs of Silicon Valley, who are not patriotic Americans, but globalists, who control the locomotion of our government, without preference to its citizens, only the bottom line and liberal agenda that will add to it.

​Imagine if inmates ran the asylum and jails, and wanted to “cancel” out opposing views or speech, while tearing down historical monuments that dot the landscape, all because they didn't fit their radical philosophy. “We'd be up sh-ts creek without a paddle”, as the old saying goes, and those Marxist/Socialists would have exerted their will over the majority of peace loving citizens.  Sound familiar? It should, because that's what is being tried by a very vocal, disgruntled, militant group  who have infiltrated our political parties and news media.

What's the matter with this scenario?  When people are afraid to speak their minds for fear of being labeled a “racist” a “bigot” or worse, losing their job, our society is becoming something our founding fathers tried to avoid when creating our democratic republic and including the 1st Amendment in our Constitution. “Cancel culture” has raised its ugly head by with demonstrators removing from the public's eye, statues of historical figures that don't conform to the thoughts or ideas of the small, yet vocal minority of Marxists/Socialists who get their destructive messages publicized by, in many cases, a sympathetic, complicit news media.

Historical figures such as Abraham Lincoln, Christopher Columbus, Robert E. Lee, Andrew Jackson and others, have come into the cross hairs of the “cancel culturists” .  Even well known and established products such as Uncle Ben's Rice, Aunt Jemima pancake mix, Mr. Potato Head, and Snow White, have felt the wrath of these losers.

Some of the most vociferous opponents of the “cancel culture” are comedians who feel stifled in performing their comedy acts.  A-line performers like Chris Rock, Jerry Seinfeld, Adam Corolla etc. have stated that comedy performances have been affected for fear of being labeled a “racist”, a “bigot”, a “homophobe” or some other epithet for making fun of other people or things that those unelected members of the “P.C. Police” deem verboten.  In the past, comedians made fun of anybody in a good natured way, and the people being made fun of laughed along with the exaggerations and jokes.  No more. Supposedly, the sensitivity factor kicks in and people are easily offended, as the “cancel culture” people want you to believe. 

This is not the United States, this “cancel culture” nonsense is a throwback to what happened in Nazi Germany, the Soviet Union, and in present day Communist China. Today, things have changed, and not for the better.  If you say or do something that is looked upon by someone as derogatory or demeaning, the “P.C. Police” will try to nullify you and make your life miserable.  You will be vilified, and and may even lose your job, even if what they objected to happened decades ago, and in some cases, during one's teenage years.

This attack on free speech must be confronted and stifled for us to enjoy the fruits of our democracy.  We must not let these very vocal anarchists to “shut us up”.  Whether you agree or disagree with another person's views makes no difference in letting those other views be spoken or heard. That's what “free speech” is all about.

Enough is enough, let's cancel the “cancel culture” and bring back free speech in all its forms and don't let these anti-American lunatics run wild as they try to undermine our democracy and our history, whether good or bad.
