Chuck on the right side
THIS IS A BLOG THAT TRIES TO APPEAL TO THE AVERAGE CONSERVATIVE CITIZEN AND HAS NO AGENDA OTHER THAN TELLING THE TRUTH AS WE SEE IT.
The definition of "bogeyman" is: "A person or thing that is widely regarded as an object of fear". Could or would that definition of" "bogeyman" fit the present day Democrats and their lackey's in the main stream media?
It seems that the words of the day among Democrats and the media is "White Supremacy". If you happen to disagree with a position of what the majority of Democrats believe, or if something happens adversely to a Black person, they immediately cry, "White Supremacy!". It is generally used along with the hackneyed word RACISM, whether it fits the situation or not. The horrific massacre in a Buffalo supermarket was looked upon by the Democrats and the media as a "White Supremacist" attack fueled by the rhetoric of Donald Trump, Republicans, and Fox News. It seems that the culprit of this heinous attack, a young man of 18 years of age, had a myriad of mental problems fueled by him being radicalized by posts on the Internet. It seems he didn't belong to any organized hate group. Although the shooter held anti-Black views, he acted on his own. He was tagged as an advocate of right-wing ideology, even though he despised both Trump and the Republicans. Therefore, it was quite an illogical stretch to say he was influenced by Trump or Republicans to commit this horrific crime in a supermarket, patronized by mostly Black people. This condemnation by the left leaning media and the Democrats seems to be directed at the one enemy they constantly allude to - yes, Donald Trump and the Republicans. It is ironic that when the Black driver in Wisconsin drove his truck into a parade of mostly White people celebrating Christmas, no mention was made that this was a racially charged attack or an example of "Black Supremacy" or anything else approaching that designation. It is a double standard worth mentioning. It seems as President Biden's poll numbers are sinking into the abyss, and the mid-term elections are on the horizon, the Democrats and the media are revving up the notion that "White Supremacy" is the biggest threat to this country in an attempt to appeal to ignorant voters and their ultra-liberal base. One group called BLM (Black Lives Matter), has been shown to be a big shakedown organization who purported to be a positive, benevolent force raising money for the Black community, but has yet to fully account for the almost $90 million in donations collected by them. In fact, much of that money suspiciously went to the founders of BLM for their own personal use. Where is the outcry? Where is the accountability? Why hasn't the Biden administration and the Democrats, and their bosom buddies in the news media, condemned BLM like they have falsely condemned Donald Trump and the Republicans? Would it be a case of blatant politics? Bias? Is the Pope Catholic? You'd think that the weekly and monthly death toll numbers in predominately Black-run cities, would generate some outrage, but they don't. Could it be that it is because the overwhelming number of murders of Black people are being committed by other Black people, and not by "White Supremacists"? Why are Democrats and the media reluctant to place blame where blame should be put? The answer is obvious. This bogus ploy by the left leaning Democrats and news media to equate most everything with "White Supremacy" will backfire on them in this year's mid-term elections as Republicans seem destined to be the big winners in both the House and Senate races, unless of course, '2000 Mules', are hired to hijack the elections. The majority of Americans are not that stupid to believe the hypocrisy of the "racial arsonists", who are determined to divide our country by race or ethnicity, aided and abetted by President Biden who was supposed to be the 'great unifier. A flippant President, Barack Hussein Obama, made that comment in 2009 after his inauguration when he said to the GOP leaders that “Elections Have Consequences” and, “I Won”. Well, what about today? Yes, Biden 'won' the disputed election and the “consequences” couldn't be any worse – look at the shape our country is in today, and it ain't pretty.
The electorate had a “hissy fit” and changed horses in 2020 – they got rid of Donald Trump whereby many voted against Trump because they didn't like his manner, his personality, and his Tweets, and settled for a cognitively challenged, professional politician, Joe Biden, who promised that he wouldn't be a Donald Trump. How has that worked out for us so far? What should be up, is down, and what should be down, is up, and it looks like Sleepy Joe Biden has no answer to make things better, except for his penchant in spending OUR money, which we don't have enough of. Joe Biden's approval numbers (33% according to the Quinnipiac poll) are going into the tank and getting worse by the month as time drags on. His lack of success is pointing to an electoral disaster for Democrats at the mid-term elections this coming November. During the campaign for president, Biden pledged to be the “unifier” and the person with the “smarts” to bring the country together, but immediately upon being sworn in he put his pen to paper and voided most of Donald Trump's executive orders which started the bad “consequences” of the disputed Biden victory of 2020. Let's look at some of the “consequences” of that Biden victory. We are no longer an energy independent country as we were under Trump. We now have to import some of our energy needs from foreign country's, some of whom are not our friends. With Biden and the Democrats zeal to buy future votes, they have passed bills with a price tag of trillions of dollars, using the pandemic as the reason to spend all that dough by giving taxpayers a “free lunch” through the generosity of the federal government. Biden and the Democrats figured that the “free cash” would generate future Democrat votes. Another “consequence” was Biden's overseeing the disastrous immigration policy which took the place of Trump's policy. Over an estimated one million illegal aliens have illegally entered our country (a figure probably low as many illegals have not been apprehended – called “gotaways”). In addition, an enormous amount of deadly drugs (fentanyl, heroin, and marijuana) have also crossed our borders with no end in sight. As a result, it is estimated that over 100,000 thousand U.S. citizens have died from an overdose of just Fentanyl alone. You might call that “blood on Biden's hands”, right? Now, the “Piece de Resistance” of the bad “consequences” that Biden's policies have wrought upon our country. At the present time, we are in the throes of the worst inflation in over 40 years. The March inflation rate was 8.5% and the April rate was 8.3%, and the stock market is falling fast as a result. A tongue-in-cheek comment is that a person's 401K will be a 101K sometime in the future. It looks like Biden is becoming the poster boy of “Murphy's Law”, which is a way of saying that what could go wrong will go wrong, and has gone wrong under the flawed leadership of Sleepy Joe Biden and his administration. It seems that Biden and the Democrats hate Donald Trump so much, that they will do anything to undo what Trump did, even if it means it would result in “bad consequences”. One thing for sure, Sleepy Joe Biden is a stubborn, arrogant man who most people think is a puppet of a far-left cabal who are pulling his strings behind the scenes. Yes, elections do have “consequences”, and unfortunately, it has come to bite us big time in the butt. We must vote out the miscreants and return some sanity back into the halls of Congress this coming November. Cast your vote for a Republican, your country depends on it. Conservative Commentary by Chuck Lehmann When I see what the policies have done to my beautiful country since Joe Biden's administration came into power, beads of tears form in my eyes. Besides a feasible suspicion of manipulation and the one item advocacy voter tipping the scale at the polls for Joe Biden, it was their failure to consider the consequences of his to-do list, that is now revealing its ramifications and ugly head, due to the hatchet job he did with the executive orders of Donald Trump to reverse what was working.
Constitutional equal rights have fallen by the wayside to special rights for political advocacy groups, that should instead be given last rites, for breaking the intent of civil rights, when it applies to race, LGBTQ and human rights of the unborn. Every answer in defense of a controversial argument, this administration uses the fictitious race card to shut the opposition up. Since the begining of time there has always only been two sexes, male and female. I won't conform to anyone's whims, demands, elusions or neurosis to accept additional adverbs other than He, She, Him or Her. It is the intercourse of the two that creates and perpetuates life. When they stray from that purpose, it becomes controversial, resulting in the heated conversation about the subject of abortion. Abortion is a medical procedure that too often, is applied as a form of birth control, to escape responsibility for indiscretions. Usually the "SHE" is stuck with the fuzzy end of the lollypop, while the "HE" chalks it up as another conquest. In other cases of abortion on demand, it is an inconvenient mistake to be eliminated, In either case, I view it as immoral, but with reservations, that a child would be entering a world under the care of irresponsible people. At the same time, by aborting, will the world be deprived of another Einstein, Mother Teresa, Martin Luther King or Marie Curie? My body, my choice is a losing argument, because there are three to be considered, Her, Him and the life being created. Conservative Commentary by George Giftos The biggest “bogeyman” that the left-leaning teacher's unions and “woke” school administrators, who have claimed that CRT is not being taught in our schools and universities, is the fact that during the pandemic when schools were shut down, and remote learning taking place, the parents actually witnessed what was being taught in many of our schools, and they didn't like what they saw and heard.
The schools and school administrators claim that the schools don't teach CRT, but how do they know? As a former teacher for over 30 years, once that classroom door is closed you don't know what that teacher or professor is saying or teaching. Since most of the teachers and professors (upwards of 80%) are politically left-leaning and liberal, you can bet that CRT is woven into the curriculum, whether or not it is stated in the curriculum. In Florida, for instance, Governor Ron DeSantis, who is against teaching CRT, doesn't want to change history, but he wants to change the idea that our country was built on racial superiority of Whites over Blacks. Yes, we had slavery, just like many countries had, and even some still have today. We, as a nation, have come a long way since those days. In fact, we have a vast rich and middle-class Black community who have taken advantage of what our democratic republic has to offer (Ex. Oprah Winfrey, Barack Obama, Hollywood actors, professional athletes, and quite a few CEO's at the helm of many corporations, plus a goodly number of black politicians at the local, state, and federal levels of government). Is that an example of racial oppression and systemic racism? In CRT and other race based theories, like the 1619 Project, historical errors were stated as immutable facts. It was claimed that Blacks were kidnapped from Africa, but missing from that statement was the fact that those Blacks that were taken as slaves by the slave traders were sold to the slave traders by other Blacks who held those Blacks as slaves themselves. It took awhile, but using our Constitution, we have gotten rid of, from our society, the vestiges of slavery and endemic segregation. If, as the CRT by portraying our country as a racist country, then how come so many of people of color want to come to our country, both legally and illegally, to live and work in our “racist” country? To perpetuate the idea that Whites are trying to suppress Blacks from voting, which the Democrats had done up to the Civil Rights Acts of 1965, it doesn't meet the smell test. By demanding voter I.D. and expanding voter days and limiting voting by mail, are not acts of voter suppression. What those voting requirements try to do is make voting more honest and less fraudulent. In fact, more blacks have voted in our elections than ever before. It is “racist to claim that Blacks can't or couldn't meet voting requirements like what Whites have to do. Claims of suppressing the Black vote is a bogus attempt, by the “racial arsonists” to stir up racial tension among Whites and Blacks. By trying and succeeding to change our voting laws prior to the election, as what happened during the presidential election of 2020 by the Democrats, it had opened up the chance of voter fraud for the benefit of one political party, the Democrats. That's what Governor DeSantis, and other governors and state legislatures have done to try to make our voting more fair and honest. For that, they have been accused of voter suppression. CRT is historically and intentionally being used to drive a wedge between the races. The constant use of the word “racism”, if you disagree with a proponent of CRT (mainly members of the Democrat Party) has made the term meaningless, in many cases, just like in the fable of the “boy who cried wolf”. So, it is imperative that CRT be put on the scrap heap of history, and people of all races should look upon our country with “race” blinders on, and take advantage what our great country has to offer for all our citizens regardless of their color, ethnicity, or national origin. Conservative Commentary by Chuck Lehmann A great question to ask a liberal Democrat is, “Can you list all the successes of Biden's term so far”? I'm sure they will be at a loss for words – and then they will reply that Republicans (and Trump) are racists, homophobes, sexists, and bigots etc. Imagine a political party being at such a stage in life that they can't justify the policies that President Biden and the Democrats have put forth, and must rely on epithets and slander?
During the 2020 campaign, Joe Biden swore he was going to be a unifying influence who was going to bring sanity and decorum back to our country once we got rid of the “evil” Donald Trump. Well, how have things worked out so far? Upon his inauguration, Joe Biden, took pen in hand and negated most all of the executive orders of his predecessor, Donald Trump. It didn't matter to Biden if those policies of Trump were working for the benefit of the country, he wanted to wipe out any legacy of Trump out of vindictiveness, paranoia, and hatred. Look where we are today, has Biden's actions really made life easier for all Americans, or are they suffering as a result of those misguided actions by the “great uniter”, Joe Biden? A number of years ago, a program on radio and T.V. called “Your Hit Parade” was broadcast naming the top songs of the week sponsored by Lucky Strike cigarettes. Can you imagine a show today using that format naming the best policies and successes of the Biden Administration? What would be the best policies put forth by the Biden Administration which could honestly be called “Hits”? Let's take a look at some of Biden's “Hits”, or should we really call them “Misses”? 1) Upon being sworn in, Biden canceled the Keystone Pipeline and restricted “fracking” on government lands and halted exploration for gas and oil in ANWR in Alaska. 2) He canceled the construction of the southern border wall that Trump had initiated to reduce the number of illegal aliens crossing our border. 3) In addition to canceling the wall, Biden re-instituted the “catch and release” program of illegal aliens entering our country. 4) He proposed rejoining the Paris Climate Agreement, and 5) WHO (World Health Organization). In addition, he said he wanted to restart the Iran nuclear agreement which Trump canceled. 6) He said he wanted to institute a $15 minimum wage for federal employees and to restore collective collective bargaining power to the unions. 7) He issued a mask and social distancing mandate on all government lands and facilities. 8) He reversed Trump's travel ban on certain countries, some Muslim and other countries with a high incidence of COVID. 9) He sent a sweeping immigration bill to Congress that included an 8 year path to citizenship for undocumented aliens. 10) He approved the disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan which resulted in the killing of 13 U.S. servicemen and the stranding of thousands of American and friendly Afghans to the trials and tribulations of the Taliban, and he left approximately $80 billion of military equipment to the Taliban. 11) He had passed a $1.9 trillion COVID relief package of funding in which in which only 10% went for COVID relief and the rest for “pork” for the various Congressmen and Senators. 12) He has been the overseer of an unprecedented influx of illegals crossing our border with very few being deported, and most being sent around the country without the knowledge of the various governors and mayors of the states and cities that are the recipients of these illegal border crossers. Neither Biden or his Vice-President Harris have visited the southern border to observe the havoc their immigration policies have wrought upon the citizens of our country. 13) In the 14+ months of Biden's presidency, he has presided over of an 8.5% rate of inflation, which he blames, incredulously, on Trump, which includes rates of inflation of 46.5% for fuel oil, 40% for gasoline, and 12.2% for meat, fish, and poultry etc. 14) Etc., Etc. Too many to list here, but you get the idea. I hope? The Democrats and Biden supporters wonder why his approval is in the dumper (33% approval by the Quinipiac poll)? It seems that they don't want to admit that their policies are a failure and that the midterm elections this November will be a blowout for the Republicans, but it looks like failure has gone to their heads. God help us to survive this aberration in our government. Let's hope that change comes about this November and that sanity is restored in the halls of the Congress and Senate. Conservative Commentary by Chuck Lehmann Why are the “woke” media platforms today having such a hard time getting subscribers and making a profit? Both CNN+ and Netflix are either halting production or losing loads of money from lost subscribers. It seems that “cancel culture” is starting to eat its own. Social media started out as a platform to offer “free speech” to the masses, but as the executives of these companies became “woke”, users realized they were being manipulated and recruited by the Marxist/Socialist cabal who run these leftist platforms.
Now, we have the richest man in the world, Elon Musk, who claims to be a “Libertarian”, has purchased “Twitter” for $46 billion with the stated purpose of giving Americans a platform to express themselves without being censored. This is the same company that banned a sitting president, Donald Trump, from using their platform because they didn't like him, his views, and what he tweeted. With Musk's announcement, the left is going crazy, attacking Musk, which is laughable on its merits. The social media platforms have had a monopoly on the dissemination of political views – only left-wing political views (a/k/a Democrat views) seem to be promoted and right-wing views are the one's being censored. The 2020 election was a perfect example of how these social media giants used their platforms to censor speech, especially that of Donald Trump and his followers. It was one-way censorship – against conservative views and thoughts. As private companies they had the right to manage their platforms without government intervention. Purporting to be "champions of free speech," these tech giants were given certain government benefits when they were created. However, the time is ripe to rein in their benefits and their 'right' to stifle free speech. Even entertainment companies, like Disney, have jumped on the “woke” bandwagon by outwardly proclaiming they will actively move against the State of Florida, as they perceive recent laws passed by the Florida legislature and signed by Gov. DeSantis, are anti-LGBTQ. In response to Disney entering into politics, the State of Florida and Gov. DeSantis, have passed a law depriving Disney of the sweetheart deal that was put in place in the 1960's, giving Disney autonomy over the land that their theme park sits on. I guess Disney found someone (Gov. DeSantis) who is willing to stand up to their “woke” statements about how Florida should conduct their business. I'm sure the Disney shareholders are not too happy with the way Disney executives have handled this situation. On the downside of the “woke” culture, the company called Netflix, which the aforementioned Elon Musk, has stated that Netflix has been infected with the “woke mind virus”, the company has lost over 200,000 subscribers between January and March of this year. The public seems to be rebelling against the political views of this high tech company and others who promote the “woke” culture. Just recently, that virulently anti-Trump cable channel, CNN, spent over $300 million in an attempt to start a new streaming outlet called CNN+. It opened up at the end of March to much fanfare, but by the end of April it will be shutting down due to its meager subscriber base of only 10,000. Much to their chagrin, they had to let go of hundreds of newly hired employees. Again, the public seems to be telling these “woke” companies that their indoctrination days are over and that free speech should not be censored. Instead, the free and open exchange of ideas should be the rule and NOT the exception. So, the writing is on the wall, if a company gets “woke” they'll most likely go broke. Conservative Commentary by Chuck Lehmann Our country is facing a political crossroad, similar to what happened at the beginning of the Civil War, when family and friends chose different paths to follow. It shaped the character of the two main parties in conflict, determining their stance between liberalism or conservatism, Democrat or Republican. Slavery and the post war aftermath scarred the Democrats with lynching's, the KKK and Jim Crow. while the Republicans had carpetbaggers. In each case, the shoe is now on the other foot, labeling the conservatives' racists, the Democrats compassionate and empathetic.
The truth being, Republicans are disciplined and stand for individualism with limited government intrusion, while the Democrats are undisciplined, stigmatized as the party of mediocrity, to who the mediocre flock to, because it rewards and requires little or no effort to care for themselves, relying on the government for their needs instead. Everyone gets a trophy in the liberal utopia. Race, gender, and unidentified sexes serve as the main criteria in selecting appointees for government positions now, instead of selecting the most qualified person to do the job. The traditional Democrat is slowly being replaced by radical progressives who are not interested in a more perfect union, but are bent on transforming the country of our founders into a potpourri of self interest projects, consisting of union workers, Cancel Culture, Black Lives Matter, ANTIFA, Creative Race Theory, the 1619 Project, Occupy Wall Street, the Green New Deal, all with a Marxist/Socialist aroma. The old guard along with the Black Caucus, have been forced to play along with the progressives to maintain unity and the illusion that America is a racist nation, a narrative kept alive by the media, all seeing who can sop up the most lucrative gravy from the racist pot. At the end of President Biden's four years, if he lasts that long, there won't be any trophies to hand-out, unless they give booby prizes for the worse administration in modern memory. Starting with the bungling of the end of the long Afghanistan campaign by a haphazard, disorganized departure, that left billons of dollars worth of arms and equipment behind. It was followed by "Biden's March to the Sea" with a slew of executive order, hatchet jobs reversing everything good President Trump had done to get our country on the right course. Within months, Biden managed to destroy everything that had us on solid ground in regards to energy , the economy, jobs, foreign relations, security and prestige. The American people are experiencing the consequences of our past election. Something smelled rotten in Denmark when somebody who never left his Delaware basement to campaign tallied more votes than any previous presidential candidate in American history. On this account, all indications point to a sound defeat in the midterm election for the democrats, in both houses, to carry over to the presidential election in 2024. Elon Musk's takeover of Twitter has happened, it is believed censorship will be a thing of the past, effecting Big Tech companies and the media from their monopoly on sources of information. If this combination comes to fruition, it will mean the return of the country to its people. Conservative Commentary by George Giftos |
