Chuck on the right side
THIS IS A BLOG THAT TRIES TO APPEAL TO THE AVERAGE CONSERVATIVE CITIZEN AND HAS NO AGENDA OTHER THAN TELLING THE TRUTH AS WE SEE IT.
The fearmongers have been predicting that if we don't do something about “Climate Change” (a/k/a global warming), eventually Delray Beach, Florida (where I live), all of South Florida, and all coastal areas around the country will be submerged in ocean water. Is that true?
Florida, for instance, throughout most of its history, has been under water. Portions of the Florida peninsula have been above and below sea level at least 4 times. As the glaciers of the north expanded and melted in eons past, the Florida peninsula emerged and submerged. It had nothing to do with “global warming” (a/k/a climate change), it had everything to with Mother Nature. When those catastrophic events happened, there was no excess of CO2 to blame those weather anomalies on, as there was no burning of fossil fuels and no SUV's despoiling the environment, as the climate cultists want us to believe. Our local newspaper, the Sun Sentinel, is hell-bent on championing the demise of South Florida due to “global warming”. They are on a crusade that the end of the world will occur if we don't do something. What have they proposed to thwart this apocalypse? It seems that they want to do away with fossil fuels and move into all forms of “green energy”, like what the climate radicals, Joe Biden, Bernie Sanders, the Squad, and John Kerry are proposing with their “Green New Deal”. Any intelligent, non-emotional person, realizes we can't get rid of fossil fuels because we need their energy output to power our economy in the near and distant future. Only recently, we saw the drawback of a form of “green energy”. The State of Texas was hit with a sudden extreme cold snap and part of their energy grid of “wind power” (which provided about 25% of electric power”), completely failed as the wind turbines froze up and couldn't produce any needed energy. The same with unreliable “solar energy”. If we have extended periods of cloudy non-sunny weather, those solar panels will not produce any energy. Of course, we should look for alternative forms of energy besides fossil fuels, but we should not put our heads in the sand and attempt to do away with all fossil fuels. The radical left has put climate change as their “Holy Grail”, as the biggest threat facing our country. It's not China and the Chinese virus, not Iran, not Russia or other bad actor countries in the world - to them it's climate change. Their argument is all emotion with selective facts to make their theory seem worse than it is. If you challenge the climate zealots and disagree with their doomsday theory, you will be labeled a “climate change denier” and a threat to humanity. Isn't it ironic that the biggest proponents of climate change, Al Gore, Barack Obama, Joe Biden, all have homes on the beach (ocean). Don't they believe their rhetoric about coastal areas being submerged because of “climate change” or is it another case of “do as I say not as I do”? Are they examples of being hypocrites? All of us want our our planet to be free from pollution, and we all want clean water and clean air (which we can control), but we don't need to decimate our need for fossil fuel energy, with pie-in-the-sky pronouncements that we can survive on solely “green energy”. We are one country that has cleaned up our environment, even by using fossil fuels, so why screw up our economy by passing ridiculous laws banning all fossil fuels? We must continue to find other sources of clean energy, which I'm sure all of us want to see happen, but it should not be an “either/or” proposition between using fossil fuels and using green energy. We could and should use both. Florida and the rest of the United States will survive this crusade by environmental zealots, as long as we don't buy into their doomsday scenario, believing that we will be swallowed up by a rampaging ocean, uncontrollable forest fires, and other natural climate disasters if we don't fully subscribe to their climate change policies and theories. Natural disasters will continue to occur whether we use fossil fuels or green energy as part of our power sources. Live your life to the fullest and enjoy our great country without living in fear of a climate induced calamity. Remember, fear is a scare tactic used to control people. America is the greatest country on earth, and might I add, the country with the cleanest air. Conservative Commentary by Chuck Lehmann

Over the past few years, there has been a concerted effort by some to divide the American people by pushing both Critical Race Theory and the 1619 Project. The objective is to convince minority populations that they are owed 'something' due to the “systemic racism” which pervades our society. The question to ask is, "Is our country guilty of “systemic racism”?
The arguments of both Critical Race Theory and the 1619 Project are right out of the playbook of the father of Communism, Vladimir Lenin, and his program of the incitement of class conflict as a means of getting power. He preached revolution as do the proponents of these divisive theories. In recent years, a number of regimes have embraced Marxist style revolutions, which all have ended in disaster (some have attempted a re-institution of Communism). The countries alluded to include the Soviet Union, China, Cambodia, Cuba, Venezuela, Nicaragua etc. These countries have racked up a killing body count of nearly 100 million of their own people. How can those in our country still demand that we join those countries in espousing communism, with such an horrendous record like that? The misguided in our country, people, like Bernie Sanders, AOC and the Squad, are pushing for a return to Marxism (a/k/a Socialism), and have substituted “race” in place of “class” based on racial and ethnic categories as their means of instituting change in our country. Critical Race Theory and the 1619 Project are academic disciplines built upon identity based Marxism. Over the recent past, the teaching of these theories was relegated to the universities and academic journals, but in recent years, it has been injected into public schools, teachers training programs, government agencies, and corporate human resources departments, in the form of “diversity” training programs”. The term “equity”, “social justice”, and “inclusion” are trigger words used in the description of these theories. They don't use the term “neo-Marxism” or Communism, as that would convey a hard sell to the American public. So they use a term like “equity”, which seems non-threatening and can be easily confused with the American principle of “equality”. (*much of this information was gleaned from the words in an article by Christopher Rufo, Contributing editor of the City Journal). In certain areas and communities of our country, there is a push by the advocates of these theories to institute forms of anti-Capitalism and a “redistribution of wealth”, from the rich to the poor, which is a form of Marxism. The proponents claim that all white people contribute to racism and that justifies the validation of “reparations” for the supposedly past discrimination of black people. It doesn't matter to the “racial hustlers” that we, as a nation, have evolved over the years, under our Constitution, to mitigate any form of discrimination that occurred in our past. In addition, no black person alive today has had any experience with slavery or with “systemic racism” sponsored by our government. If you proclaim, like I just did, that there is no “systemic racism”, you will be labeled a racist, a bigot and in some cases a KKK supporter, among other epithets. Unfortunately, due to the fact that many radical leftists are employed in our schools and universities as teachers and professors, these places of learning have been instrumental in indoctrinating these radical racist theories in the curriculum's, and in the students minds attending these institutions. As result, a good portion of the “Millennial” age group in our country favor Socialism over Capitalism. We must not let these radicals “fundamentally change” our country (as former President Barack Obama once proclaimed as a goal). We must have courage to stand up and speak the truth. Being silent is not an option (a case in point is the slings and arrows directed at Florida Governor Ron DeSantis for speaking truth to power). Your vote is required to maintain the principles of America, through electing, pro-Constitution, patriotic elected officials as our leaders, as was handed down by our Founding Fathers. Conservative Commentary by Chuck Lehmann As most of us learned in our high school biology class, the human species evolved from apes (chimpanzees). The "Theory of Evolution by Natural Selection", was first published in 1859 by Charles Darwin, a British Naturalist, Geologist, and Biologist. He claimed that we evolved over millions of years from apes into humans. The question which comes up when discussing Darwin's theory is - if we did evolve from apes, how come we still have apes?
Today, we have similar questions that seem to be taking hold in communities around the world: Can males become females, and females become males? The logic of both theories can be challenged, but if you challenge those theories you will be called a "science denier" or worse. It boggles the mind that people can be denigrated for believing that the common sense of scientific research cannot with any certainty validate those theories regarding human evolution and gender selection. Some highly educated people espouse those claims of evolution and gender disorientation as being factual and conclusive. The "Causede Jour" today is the championing of people claiming to be "Transgender". Even someone, like the newly appointed Supreme Court Justice, Katanji Brown Jackson, couldn't, when questioned by a Senate confirmation committee, give a definition of who was a woman. It doesn't matter what proof there is in determining the definition of male and female, the "trans gender' advocates ignore what Mother Nature has determined by our DNA of what is considered to be a male or female. The old adage of "the squeaky wheel gets the most grease" surely applies to those pseudo-science advocates. The proponents are very vocal and seem to get extra play in the liberal oriented media, thereby giving them some validation in the eyes of the public. The terms transphobia, bigot, racist, and science deniers, are bandied about if you disagree with those "cult" worshipers. It doesn't matter if science and common sense refutes their claims, they are persistent, to a fault, that they are right and that saner heads are wrong. So, the people who believe in evolution and "gender binary" people, with their theories of life of how it began and how it is today, have a right to their views, but not to the scientific facts that are known today. I'd like ask again to those who believe in the theory of evolution, how come if humans evolved from apes, how come we still have apes? I might become a believer if they can answer that question, not with emotion, but with scientific facts to back up their theories. Conservative Commentary by Chuck Lehmann The “Peter Principle”, was defined in a book back in the 1950's, by Laurence J. Peter, about a theory he had about the workplace, with the concept being that people in a work hierarchy tend to rise to a “level of respective incompetence”.
It seems Joe Biden has taken that principle to heart, by not only winning the presidency, but by appointing people, who by all intents and purposes, are incompetent to do the jobs they were appointed to do. Look at the shape our country is in and tell me that it is run competently, even including Joe Biden himself? Joe Biden's decisions since he was inaugurated President, has had an affinity to make one mistake after another, starting with negating most all of Trump's policies, no matter if those policies were good for the country. A competent administrator (in this case the president) would continue the policies of his predecessor that were working , regardless of his personal animus and loathing for that person (Trump). Look what has happened because of his incompetency in only 2 years. When Trump left office, our country was energy independent and an exporter of energy around the world. Not anymore. In order to appease his radical base supporters, Biden and the Democrats went on a spending spree ($5 trillion so far and counting), thus leading us into a recession and sky high inflationary prices of basic goods and services. On the foreign front, he incompetently engineered a disastrous pull out of Afghanistan, causing the death of 13 military personnel and the leaving of thousands of U.S. citizens and friendly Afghani's behind in Taliban control and territory. Besides the “Peter Principle”, it also looks like Biden has bought into “Murphy's Law” (an adage that says anything that can go wrong will go wrong). Look at the people who Biden has chosen to work under him. He claims to be an advocate of “Affirmative Action”,“Diversity”, and “Equity” (at all costs). Biden, first off, after he was nominated, selected Kamala Harris as his Vice-President running mate (she was the one at the Democrat debates who basically called Biden a racist). Did he choose her because of her competence as an administrator, or did he choose her because of her racial makeup and gender? She has proven to be one of the biggest personnel disasters in modern political history. Next, in naming his cabinet, he chose Pete Buttigieg, the former failed Mayor of South Bend, Indiana, to be Transportation Secretary. He had zero experience of anything associated with transportation, but he was fairly young and more importantly, he was a “Gay man” (as if that had anything to do with transportation). We now have a supply chain problem that is in the purview of the Transportation Secretary. Next, he appointed Alejandro Mayorkas as Homeland Security Secretary. This incompetent selection has been in charge of the southern border that has let 5 million illegal aliens into our country, and an unlimited supply of illegal drugs, including the deadly Fentanyl, Heroin, and Meth. To add his incompetence, he has stated on numerous occasions that the border is secure even though on nightly news programs, you can see thousands of illegals crossing our border practically unchallenged. In addition to the above cabinet members, the following appointments fall into the category of being less than competent. He appointed, a failed Supreme Court nominee, Merrick Garland, as his Attorney General, who has proven to be the most biased, partisan Attorney General in modern history, even surpassing the infamous Eric Holder, Obama's Attorney General. The list goes on and on with the likes of Janet Yellen as Treasury Secretary, Jennifer Granholm as Energy Secretary, and Xavier Becerra at Health and Human Services, all with limited expertise in their respective agencies and departments. To hit all the special interest groups, as Biden looks for votes, he appointed a former male, now female, Rachel Levine, as Assistant Secretary of Health and Human Services, who is an advocate of child sex transitions, including bodily mutilation. I guess he has won over the transgender community with that appointment? To compliment Rachel Levine, Biden just recently appointed Karine Jean-Pierre as Press Secretary, an African-American, female, lesbian, who has difficulty answering simple questions proffered by mainly friendly press reporters. So you can see with the array of incompetents working under a cognitively challenged Biden, why our country is in dire straits. It does seem that the “Peter Principle” is alive and well in the Biden Administration. Let's all hope that our country survives and that sanity would return to our government.
