“If you invite them, they'll come”.  That seems to what is happening in the United States today.  An alarming number of illegal migrants, from over 150 countries, have been apprehended at our border (thousands avoided apprehension) during the past year, with the expectation that over 1 million will have illegally entered our country this past year alone.  Some of the illegal migrants that have been apprehended had t-shirts with the phrase, “Thank You Joe Biden”.  What is wrong with this administration to let this happen? Are they really trying to “transform” our country into a third-world “Nirvana” for immigrants?

Up until the time President Donald Trump left office, we pretty much had the illegal migrant problem mitigated with the help of Mexico.  But, when Joe Biden was elected he decided to do away with all of Trump's immigration policies that were put in place such as halting building the “border wall”, instituting a “catch and release” procedure, doing away with the “remain in Mexico” policy until a case is adjudicated, and deporting only a minimal number of illegals back to their home country.  It seems that the animosity Biden had for Trump ruled the day when Biden took office.  If there was a Trump policy in place, Biden was against it, regardless of its merit.  Biden, during his campaign, said that he would welcome all who wanted to come to the United States.  So, today we have been inundated with hordes of migrants crossing our border, almost at will, as our Border Patrol is being overwhelmed by the numbers crossing illegally, invading our country.

President Biden appointed VP Kamala Harris to be our “Border Czar”, but she seems to be “missing in action,” nowhere to be seen at the fiasco happening along our Mexican border.  Is this what a border czar is supposed to do in solving this major problem affecting our country and citizens, ignore the problem? It sure seems that way.

The United States has had a spike in COVID cases, and it is reported that an estimated 25% of illegals entering our border have COVID.  Are we crazy in allowing the unrestricted potential spread of infectious cases coming into our country?  President Biden wants to “mandate” our citizens to wear masks and to be vaccinated, but he says nothing about the illegals invading our country.  Why the double standard?  To me, that misguided Biden policy is a dereliction of duty by the President.  Imagine if Donald Trump was in charge during this invasion, the news media and the Democrats would be having a “conniption fit” and would be clamoring for another impeachment of the president.

How much longer can we let this immigration disaster fester before we have a revolt by the law-abiding citizens who say enough is enough? These mostly unskilled, under educated migrants must be taken care of by the federal and state governments, with the cost being born by the U.S. taxpayer.  All these illegals will have to be educated, provided health care and housing, all funded by taxpayer money. How is this fair to American citizens? 

As our headline infers, when you encourage people to enter our country illegally, they will come looking for their “Nirvana”.  It must stop or we will not be a sovereign country anymore, just a way station for the people of the world to get the freebies that our country offers, including those who are entering our country to do us harm.

My advice to the tone deaf Biden Administration is to return to the Trump border policies, otherwise we will become a 3rd world country with only Democrats in charge.  It seems that's what the Democrats want, total control, and the hell with the rest of the country.

This proverb, coined by English writer, John Heywood, in 1546, uncannily refers to today's Democrat Party.  I'm sure most Democrats realize that they have bought a “pig in a poke” in their supposedly “elected” president, Joe Biden, but they don't want to admit it.

It is quite obvious, that in the Democrats' desire to get rid of Donald Trump, they brought all their political might (the news media, Hollywood, academia, Silicon Valley and social media etc.) to push Joe Biden over the finish line to have him become president.  The way it looks now, the Democrats might just rue the day they chose a cognitively challenged candidate to be the one to take down Trump from being re-elected.  It's only been 10 months since Biden took office, but it has been one disaster after another that has befallen his administration, with no end in sight. 

First off, the election of Biden itself was tainted with dubious election practices around the country months and weeks before the election of 2020, especially in the “battleground states”, with charges of fraud permeating throughout the various states.  Any rational, unaffiliated human being who observed the election of 2020, had to come to the conclusion that there was “something rotten in Denmark”.  How could a candidate, with such obvious shortcomings, garner over 80 million votes by campaigning mostly from his basement bunker, while his opponent was campaigning, all over the country, to crowds that sometimes reached 20,000 in attendance at those rallies?  It has been reported that many voters were turned off by Trump's style, personality, and Tweets, but could that really be the reason how Biden supposedly got 7 million more votes?  Me thinks I smell a rat !

Since the Democrats got their wish by preventing Trump having a second term, they are now saddled with a leader who is taking them down the “Road to Perdition”, as they seem to be blinded to the facts by their loony liberal ideology.

The off year election in 2022, when both the majority of the Senate and House are in play, will be a test case as to whether the electorate wants to go down the road of socialism rather than what the Founding Fathers gave us, the institution of capitalism?  Already the talking heads of some influential Democrats see the writing on the wall as to the massive defeat they expect by losing both the Senate and the House in 2022.  This is one of the reasons why the Senate and House leadership are pushing their massive spending plans while they still are in the majority.  Once they lose the majority in Congress, their push for European-style socialism will be stymied by the Republicans, as well it should.

The blindfolded Democrats realize that Joe Biden has screwed up by excessively using his “executive order” pen to get rid of many of the Trump policies that were working just fine.  Those stupid acts of revenge on the part of Biden, has caused inflation to arise in most areas of life , especially in energy (gas prices) and food stuffs.  They also have downplayed the disaster of the Afghan pullout by leaving many U.S. citizens and Afghan aides behind under Taliban control.  The Democrats also have been “circling the wagons” to sugarcoat the disaster at our southern border, which, for all intents and purposes, is wide open for illegal migrants to migrate into our country illegally (it is estimated that over a million illegals will be admitted into our country just this year alone).

In addition to those disasters listed above, the Democrats are blinded to how Joe Biden carries out his duties as president, whereby it seems that he is being manipulated, like a puppet, by his close handlers in the White House.  It is quite obvious, to a rational observer, that Biden is incapable of leading the nation.  It wouldn't surprise me if the “movers and shakers” of the Democrat Party, convinces Biden to step down, using health reasons as an excuse, or they might use the 25th Amendment to have him leave the White House (a long shot at best).

So, in conclusion, “There are None so Blind as Those Who Will Not See” should be placed upon the heads of those who still support Biden even in the face of his woeful job performance.  The one caveat is that if Biden goes, what do we have to took forward to, President Kamala Harris?  That's a “Hobson's Choice” if there ever was one.

That paraphrase of an H.L. Menchen quote, can surely be applied to the recall election of California Governor Gavin Newsom.  As the State of California is going into the dumpster due to the misguided effects of its present governor, the voters of California have rejected the recall of Governor Gavin Newsom.

The once most dynamic state of the union, has now been in the throes of a massive decline due to the policies put forth by Newsom and the Democrats. During the past couple of decades when the Democrats took over total control of the state, California has been transformed into a progressive nightmare with its policy of welcoming immigration from Central America and Asia, and its policy of “Sanctuary Cities”, with those immigrants generally voting the Democrat ticket thereby preserving the control by the Democrats.

The policies put forth by Newsom and the Democrats have caused the State of California to lead the nation in highest gas prices; the most illegal aliens per capita of any other state; the highest tax rates on individuals and companies; the number of homeless and drug addicts has increased exponentially during Newsom's term as governor; the highest real estate prices and rental rates making it almost impossible for middle to low income to find reasonable housing; besides having the most lenient criminal prosecution laws; and a prevalence of destructive forest fires due to forest mismanagement. All these negative happenings have come about as Gavin Newsom has been the governor, and yet the voters voted to keep him in office. It seems that the voters voted against their own best interests and now will have to live with their stupidity till his term ends next year.

To emphasize the bad policies of Newsom and the Democrats, the exodus of many taxpaying individuals and companies has taken place, thereby reducing the inflow of tax money by those well-to-do and middle class citizens.  The state seems to be spiraling toward a citizenry of the very poor and the very rich. So much for Socialism leveling the playing field. These misguided policies also have included rolling blackouts, prices of most commodities to exorbitant levels, a shortage of water resources due to restrictive environmental edicts that makes no common sense.  One has to wonder, why do taxpayers continue to vote for politicians that make their lives miserable and unsustainable?  Is the party designation, in this case Democrat, the overwhelming incentive to vote against their best interests? 

In addition, the persona of Gov. Newsom is one of “do as I say and not as I do”.  During the pandemic, he has flaunted his own decrees when dealing with this scourge.  He declared that no one meet in groups, but then goes ahead in dining with a group of lobbyists at a very expensive restaurant called the “French Laundry”, with no masks on the guests, but the servers having to wear them; he closed down the public schools for personal learning, but then sent his own children to private schools for in-person learning, while the others had to use virtual learning which really was equivalent to to a second-class education;  he also has championed a railway from Los Angeles to San Francisco which has stalled and many consider a major boondoggle.

​As California slowly sinks into the sewer, the voters have no one to blame but themselves for keeping this incompetent governor in Sacramento to further hasten the decline of that once great state.
