When President Trump says that we should put America First, and that we are an exceptional country, he gets mocked by the lefty loons who are championing Socialism over our free enterprise Capitalist system. Those ignominious ingrates are really preaching that the United States is not exceptional, but that we are just a mediocre nation.

Listen to the feckless Democrats, they are most always seeming to denigrate the American people and our system of government, especially the people who voted for President Trump in 2016. No matter the good policies that President Trump has proposed and put into action, they cry that those policies are wrong for the country. They never want to give him credit for any of the positive things that are happening in our country through his efforts. They are like little children who don't get their way and pout.

If these lefty lunatics loved their country as much as they hate President Trump, there would be no end as to what we could achieve as a country. Imagine all that Trump has accomplished in these almost 3 years as president, even in face of almost total resistance by the Democrats and their lackey's in the “fake news media”? (a Harvard University study determined that over 90% of all news stories, in the main stream media, were negative about Trump).

During his almost 3 years at the helm of our great country, President Trump has presided over the greatest economy in modern times with employment at an all-time high and unemployment at an all-time low. In the past 3 years, we have become energy independent, no longer having to rely on unstable energy producing nations for our energy needs. We have gotten rid of a multitude of onerous business regulations, and our stock markets have been booming ever since his election, reaching all-time highs. In addition, President Trump has struck some really good trade deals with So. Korea, Japan, and he renegotiated a new NAFTA deal with Mexico and Canada (which Nancy Pelosi has not brought up for a vote in the House), how sad that politics takes over from our national interests? He is now having some results with negotiating a trade deal with China, which if it comes to fruition, would be a bonanza for our country. Also, besides the tax cuts that he orchestrated, where most everyone got a tax cut, he has found a way to get funding to build that wall at the southern border. The list of accomplishments of his go on and on, but you'd never know it if you relied on the Democrats and the news reports in the media. All these good things have happened in spite of the resistance of his political enemies.

You hear many of the Democrat candidates for president preaching from the hymnal of Bernie Sanders and the infamous anti-Semitic socialist cabal of the “Squad”, headed up by Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, in telling us that reality is not reality, but economic gobbledygook. Instead of proving that we are an exceptional country, they want everyone to be mediocre and dependent on an overbearing government bureaucracy, all under the guise of “fairness”, and believe it or not, many people are falling for that “snake oil”. The lefties are promising all kinds of “free stuff” to the naive groups of voters looking for something for nothing, in hopes that they will get their votes. By championing Socialism, the lefty Democrats want to make our country a mediocre country rather than an exceptional one. In the words of that great statesman, Sir Winston Churchill who said, “Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery”, he sort of hit the nail on the head. We don't want to become another Venezuela or Cuba.

We should not settle for mediocrity, we should always strive to be exceptional, and with the re-election of Donald Trump in 2020, we will be on our way to fulfilling that claim of being exceptional. Keep America great.

Shouldn't those words in the headline be heeded by Joe Biden and a host of other Democrats, especially Adam Schiff? It's been 3 years of a constant failed barrage of negative claims against President Trump, and still the Democrats won't give up their quest to have President Trump thrown out of office. And now we have Russia 2.0 in the form of an impeachment investigation by the disgruntled Democrats to try to overturn the 2016 election.

The leading Democrat candidate, as of now, Joe Biden, is a gaffe machine unparalleled in American history. He has a difficult time expressing himself in a cogent, factual way that would inspire people to feel confident of his competency to lead our country as president. He seems to have that proverbial foot in his mouth almost every time he speaks on the stump.

It seems that the Democrats are starting to get the jitters in the possibility that Biden might be the Democrat standard bearer in the 2020 election. His “foot in mouth disease” is becoming more evident, week after week. I wouldn't be surprised if Joe Biden will have to drop out for the nomination in the next few months.

Besides his verbal gaffes, Joe Biden is now under scrutiny for his actions as Obama's Vice-President in regards to his son, Hunter Biden, in 2016. It seems that Joe Biden, as Obama's emissary to the Ukraine, went to the Ukraine to deliver a $1 billion loan guarantee to the Ukrainians to help them in their defense of their country from the Russians. At that time, Joe Biden's son, Hunter, was on the Board of Directors of a Ukrainian energy company called Burisma, which was being investigated for corruption by a Ukrainian prosecutor by the name of Viktor Shokin. During this trip to deliver the loan guarantee, Joe Biden contacted Ukrainian high officials in charge and told them that in order to get the $1 billion loan guarantee, they must fire the prosecutor (Shokin) who was investigating his son Hunter and Burisma. According to a bragging session at a meeting at the Council of Foreign Relations in 2018, Joe Biden related the story of his actions in getting the prosecutor fired. Imagine, an official of the U.S. government conducting a shakedown of a foreign country for the benefit of his son who was under investigation? If that isn't a case of “foot in mouth disease”, I don't know what is.

Even though there is a video of Joe Biden making that threat to have the prosecutor fired, the Democrats have been “circling the wagons” in defense of ole Sleepy Joe. It's like they have blinders on and have completely ignored this major gaffe by Joe Biden. He admitted to the shakedown.

In addition, it seems that the Biden nepotism didn't stop in the Ukraine, it rose its ugly head in another situation in China where Hunter Biden, on a trip with his father on Air Force Two, got a sweetheart deal worth $1.5 billion for his investment company. What is ironic is that Hunter Biden had no experience in financial dealings, so why would China give Hunter such a lucrative deal? Could it be because his father was a high ranking U.S. official? And the Democrats have the nerve to continue their vendetta against Trump by claiming that he is the most corrupt president in U.S. history. Maybe they should take the advice that a closed mouth gathers no foot and that they should look in the mirror to see who the real corrupters are?

After 3 years of calling for the impeachment of President Trump, the feckless Democrats have now latched onto a benign conversation between Trump and Ukrainian President Zelensky, as evidence that Trump committed an impeachable act. Does any sane, non-partisan person really think that President Trump has committed a high crime or misdemeanor, and therefore, should be impeached?

Well, that's what the Democrats are hanging their hats on and are putting the citizens of the United States through the divisive misuse of the impeachment process. What a disgrace !

Since the Mueller probe turned up no collusion (conspiracy) by Trump, to the chagrin of the Democrats who thought for sure that Mueller was going to give them fodder for impeachment, they are now looking for anything to tie around the neck of the president to justify their insane quest to throw Trump out of office. So, what are the damning words that Trump supposedly said that would rise to an impeachable offense? You could classify the charges by the  Democrats (and their flunky's in the media) as liars par excellence.

Let's examine what these lies are, by examining the words that Trump actually said in the phone conversation. The Democrats, mainly Adam Schiff, Nancy Pelosi, Jerrold Nadler, and other Democrats with TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome), are claiming that Trump offered a “quid pro quo” to Zelensky. A critical reading of the conversation showed that nothing of value was offered, therefore, there was no “quid pro quo”. Next, they claimed that Trump asked for a favor to dig up “dirt” on Joe Biden and his son Hunter. What Trump was asking a favor for was for Zelensky, as the new president of

Ukraine, to help in investigating attempts by the previous government to interfere in our 2016 election. There was no mention of Biden until 540 words later in the call. Another claim by the Democrats was that Trump threatened to withhold aid to the Ukraine unless Zelensky did us a favor. The fact is that Ukraine did not know that aid was put on hold by Trump until a month after the phone call. There was no “quid pro quo”. The aid was released sometime in August, it had nothing to do with the conversation between Trump and Zelensky.

The so-called “whistle blower” (supposedly a CIA worker in the White House) had no first hand knowledge of what was said on the phone call. He reported only hearsay and gossip from others. Many of the charges he made in his charge were incorrect which the transcript showed when it was released, making what he said moot and irrelevent.

Of course, to prove malfeasance by Trump, they claimed that he orchestrated a cover up. Are they kidding? What was the presentation to the public of the phone call transcript and the permission by Trump of his National Security Adviser and his emissary to Ukraine to testify
before Congress? That's a cover up?

This whole exercise, by the Democrats, is nothing more than a “Kangaroo Court Inquiry”, used to try to negate the will of the people and to overturn the election of a duly elected president, therefore, they continue this charade in hopes that this baseless charges will damage him in the eyes of the electorate. Even if the House votes for impeachment, the Senate will not convict him. This whole thing is a complete waste of time and money. They should all be ashamed of
themselves for putting the country though this..

The “fake news media” and their biased polls showing that Trump would lose to any of the Democrats running for president are just as reliable as the polls that showed Hillary Clinton winning in a landslide in 2016. The betting odds by the bookmakers in Las Vegas predict that Trump will win in 2020. I'll stick with the Las Vegas bookmakers not the biased press in determining the outcome of the next election, impeachment or no impeachment.

That's the popular song made famous by Fats Domino (may he R.I.P.) in the 1950's, but the title has pertinence today as to what is gong on as our culture has come under attack by Progressives (a/k/a Liberals, Democrat Socialists).

Within the last few years, we've seen one tradition after another come under attack by the Progressives and in its place, laws have been enacted and court decisions have been reached making prevailing morality and social order the enemy and instituting a “feel good” anything goes mentality on how we should conduct our affairs and our lives. Political correctness reigns supreme.

This assault on our traditional values began in the 1960's when we passed “feel good” legislation declaring a “War on Poverty” under President Lyndon Johnson. The good intentions of helping the poor morphed into a plan to take from the successful in our society (a/k/a the rich and successful) and give to the less than successful by means of “income redistribution”. Instead of helping the poor better themselves, and after spending nearly $20 trillion since 1965, we have seen no marked improvement of the poor except that they have become more dependent upon the government for their everyday sustenance. In addition, the “War on Poverty” laws have had a deleterious effect upon the family, especially among the black community where over 70% of all black births are to single women without a father at home. The social consequences of this is now being manifested in the increase of criminal activity in that social class. Children growing up in a one-parent fatherless homes are many times more prone to drop out of school, indulge in petty crime as youngsters, get involved in gangs, and finally leading up to becoming adult criminals. As Fats Domino would say, “Ain't That A
Shame”.

Look around, what do you see? Drug use is being legalized in many states (and we have an opioid crisis to boot), and just lately we've had a couple of U.S. Supreme Court decisions that have turned our Constitution on its head. Those decisions were not based on constitutional law, but were based on the emotions of those judges own personal viewpoints and interpretations of what the law they thought it meant, not what the law actually meant.

It seems that Americans have become so “non-judgmental” that many people can no longer tell the difference between good and evil or right or wrong. Over the last few years, we have witnessed a lack of common sense morality that has real consequences for our nation. Here are some of the negatives I'm referring to: 1) The collapse of marriage (roughly 40% of marriages now end in divorce). 2) Violent crime, especially in inner cities, has reached epidemic proportions (ex: Chicago, Baltimore, Detroit, St. Louis etc.). 3) Poor government (one of the biggest factors is the dishonesty of our own politicians). 4) Dependence by people on the government for their sustenance (1 out of 5 people are getting some sort of a government handout). 5) The lack of civility and manners (especially among the young people who mostly come from single parent households (no father at home to give guidance).

Finally, there is a concerted assault on our Judeo Christian heritage. Members of the media, academics, gays, George Soros, Democrat Party, and race baiters like Al Sharpton, Black Lives Matter, and Jesse Jackson, along with that “Fascist anti-Fascist” group called ANTIFA, have banded together to undo hundreds of years of traditions, traditions that have made the U.S.A. the greatest country and the envy of the entire world. Remember, in 2008, Barack Obama said that, if elected, he would “transform America”. Now, after his 8 years in office, what does that “transformation” look like? Now we have Donald Trump as president who is trying to undo what Obama did during his tenure in the White House. Will he succeed before the next election in 2020? It all depends on the electorate in November 2020, whether common sense will prevail or will we fall further into the abyss of Marxism/Socialism which the Democrats (including Kamala Harris, Joe Biden, Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders etc.) will be offering up as an alternative to Trump? If they succeed, then Fats Domino's song of “Ain't That a Shame” will be the cry of American patriots and grass-roots citizens as the USA slowly slips into what happened in the demise of the Roman Empire or what is happening in Venezuela today under Marxist/Socialist Nicolas Maduro, and in Castro's Cuba. Let's hope that the song “Ain't That a Shame” is not revived in the future over the demise of the U.S.A.
