​Is the Media Guilty of Journalistic Malpractice?

A free press is guaranteed by our Constitution and should be a positive force in making our republic free and open by making our country a better place to live in by holding, those who believe in denying freedom or exploiting others, their feet to the fire.  Could you honestly say that about our media today?  Does the media promote fair and balanced reporting on what is happening in our country and around the world?

Well, being fair and balanced is how a free and open press is supposed to operate in our society.  Over the years, we have witnessed the propensity of the media to favor one political party over the other political party. It seems the mainstream media has become the propaganda arm of the Democrat Party. A goodly portion of the media today is prone to cover up malfeasance on the part of the Democrats, but is the chief antagonist of anything Republican, especially former President Donald Trump.

This overly partisan view of the media (and journalists who represent them) has expanded exponentially ever since Donald Trump came on the political scene.  Trump, who generally had a favorable press image prior to his entry into politics, became the scourge of the Democrats and their lackey's in the media ever since he came down the escalator at Trump Tower in 2015.  That favorable image of Trump turned into vicious animosity and hate, which has been described as “Trump Derangement Syndrome”.  The knives that came out against Trump at that time has since been turned into bayonets for all his four years as president and in the years since he left office, and has increased after he announced another run for president in 2024.

It is almost unprecedented the lengths that the Democrats, and their lackey's in the media will go to disparage and vilify their once fair-haired boy, Donald Trump.  From day one of his presidency, the cry of “impeachment” resonated in the halls of the House of Representatives and the Senate, along with a clarion call of the left-wing media outlets of CNN, MSNBC, N.Y Times, Washington Post, NPR etc. This animus was carried out with the phony charge of Russian collusion with Trump in the 2016 election ( which was really sponsored by by the Hillary Clinton campaign and the DNC) which was found to be a hoax by the Mueller Commission, two impeachments, solely initiated by the Democrats, and which the Senate failed to convict, and which continued apace after he left office by bringing frivolous criminal lawsuits against him in Democrat strongholds of New York, Wash. D.C., and Atlanta.  Their goal is to try to keep Trump from running for president again and to hopefully having him spend time in prison.  Their hate for Trump is overwhelming and all consuming.

With the exception of Fox News and Newsmax, most all the media outlets can find no redeeming value in the candidacy of Donald Trump.  This is where the term “Journalistic Malpractice” comes into play.  They should be neutral in reporting the news and should treat both parties with equal skepticism, by reporting the good and the bad wherever it might occur. This they seem to not do that as the high tech companies, among others, have lied and misrepresented pertinent information prior to the 2020 campaign by withholding what was contained in the Hunter Biden laptop (sometimes referred to as the “Laptop from Hell”, publishing a phony list of former intelligence officials who were claiming Russian involvement, and pooh-poohing election irregularities, especially in the battleground states.

Will the Democrats and the media succeed again in their attempt to marginalize the Republican nominee in 2024, or will the voting public rise up and say enough is enough of this wrongful manipulation of our election system to get and retain power, regardless of the means used to get the desired result?  This will be the most monumental election in our history if the voters continue on the path of destruction that the Democrats have led our country on these past three years.  Our democratic republic is at stake, a good house cleaning is in order to make us, as Ronald Reagan once stated. “That shining city upon the hill”  Elections have consequences, vote Republican as if you life and country depended on it.
