THIS IS A BLOG THAT TRIES TO APPEAL TO THE AVERAGE CONSERVATIVE CITIZEN AND HAS NO AGENDA OTHER THAN TELLING THE TRUTH AS WE SEE IT.
Ever since the unfortunate George Floyd incident, the left-wing lunatics have been pushing an organizational framework called DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion). It is supposed to seek, “fair treatment” and full participation of all people, particularly groups who have historically been unrepresented or subject to discrimination on the basis of identity or disability”. This organizational framework has taken hold in many educational institutions and in “woke” corporations around the country. To many, this is a form of “reverse discrimination”, as it has promoted equity, for some, in place of equality, for all.
One of the biggest proponents of this framework is the federal government in conjunction with the Biden Administration. Most of Biden's picks for cabinet, judicial, and government positions have gone to applicants who meet the principles of DEI, as to whether they check off the boxes of race, gender, ethnicity, or sexual orientation. If they do, then they are appointed regardless if they are qualified or experienced for the job. At one time prior to DEI, our country mostly favored merit and competence over only the aforementioned race, gender, ethnicity, and sexual orientation to hire or promote people within their organizations. That seems to have taken a back seat when these organizations look to to hire people for positions in their schools and corporations today. A perfect example is how the Biden Administration has gone about filling positions in all of the government positions that they are responsible for. His cabinet and cabinet assistants seem to all check off the boxes under the guidelines of DEI. Instead of choosing applicants on the basis of their competence, experience, and expertise, most of the hires of the Biden Administration have been chosen on the basis of the DEI framework. The consensus among many is that the makeup of the Biden Administration has been a disaster, as mediocrity has taken the place of excellence. Some primary examples of appointees lacking crucial credentials to do their jobs competently are, a disgruntled, passed over Supreme Court nominee, Merrick Garland, as a highly partisan Attorney General, who has weaponized the Justice Department against a political opponent; Pete Buttigieg, a gay failed Mayor of So. Bend, Indiana, who had no experience at his job as Transportation Secretary; Jennifer Granholm, former Governor of Michigan, who had zero knowledge of energy as Energy Secretary; Alejandro Mayorkas as Homeland Security Secretary, who has been responsible for allowing into our country over 8 million illegal migrants and tons of the deadly drug Fentanyl; and Xavier Becerra, a former Congressman, as Health and Human Services Secretary, to cover the Hispanic box; Of course, mention should also be made of Assistant Secretary of Health and Human services, Rachel Levine, who fits into the favorable box of being transgender. There are others not fit to lead in their jobs, but you get the point. In addition, when Biden had the opportunity to nominate a Supreme Court Justice, he said he would only nominate a black woman to fill the position, bypassing anyone else who might be considered, he selected black Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson, who when grilled by the Senate Judiciary Committee, when asked what the definition of a woman is, she couldn't answer that simple question . Can you believe that? And she's now a Supreme Court justice. His hires remind me of the book written by Laurence J. Peter in the 1960's called the “Peter Principle”, which is defined as where a person, in life and in an organization, eventually reaches his/her level of incompetence,, a common thread relating to most of Biden's hires in his administration. That is one reason why, according to many polls evaluating the performance of the Biden Administration in its first three years in power, that 70% the citizens polled feel that the country is going in the wrong direction, and part of the reason is the infusion of DEI in the policy making decisions of the Biden Administration and in corporate America. In conclusion, DEI is a framework of causing more animosity among many individuals and groups, instead of unifying the disparate groups that make up our population. It seems the powers to be are striving for mediocrity by using DEI in conducting their school curriculum's and hiring, or by companies, instead of striving to maximize their potential, are giving in to the “woke” philosophy of DEI, thereby contributing to the angst and anxiety of the average citizen. So let's change DEI to the more appropriate word, DIE. Conservative Commentary by Chuck Lehmann

If You Disagree With a Progressive, Socialist, Democrat, Are You “Undermining Our Democracy”?1/19/2024 If you listen to the Democrats, and their lackey's in the media, you cannot disagree with them, otherwise, you'll be labeled as someone who is “undermining our democracy”. That seems to be the gist or theme that the Democrats will be using in the presidential campaign of 2024. However, truth be told, we are a Democratic Republic
The words Hitler, Nazi sympathizer, Fascist, dictator, racist, or other vile designation, seems to drip from the lips or pen of most all rabid Democrats, columnists, pundits, and editorialists in the left-wing media, as if having a different point of view is tantamount to being labeled one of those epithets mentioned above. Already, former President Trump has been called one or more of those epithets, even before the major campaign has really begun. What do you think will happen once the campaign gets into high gear after the primary season? Since the Democrats will have difficulty running on their record , they will use personal vilification, innuendo, and malice to try to scare the voters into voting for them, and not the “evil” Republican candidate. The left's vitriol knows no bounds when it comes to conservatives and/or Republicans. It's either their way or the highway, as no alternative is acceptable to their radical policies of a form of Marxism/Socialism which they are trying to shove down the throats of the American electorate. Most Democrat and the left-wing media attacks are mainly directed at Donald Trump, as he is the person who is leading in the Republican primaries, but they also seem to be going after anyone who opposes their agenda. Take for instance, if you criticize the Biden Administration about how they are handling the Southern border crisis, you are called a bigot, a racist, a xenophobe or other vile terms to try to marginalize your thoughts on this very emotional topic. As poll after poll shows, Biden and his border policy gets a thumbs-down by a wide margin, but he still turns a blind eye to shutting down the illegal migration into our country. Is the loony, liberal left-flank of his party that powerful that he can't act for the benefit of our country? It sure seems that way. Isn't it ironic that the same things the liberal Democrats accuse the Republicans of, are the same things they have been doing for years? The organized effort, on the part of the Democrats, to try to keep Trump off the ballot in a few states over the bogus claim that he instituted and condoned an “insurrection”, tries to shift emphasis away from Biden's disastrous border, economic, and energy policies. It seems unfair to many people that the effort to disenfranchise them from voting for the candidate of their choice, really is an example of “undermining our democracy”, and it is not the Republicans, but the “holier than thou” Democrats that are doing the undermining. Our founding fathers would be turning over in their graves if they could witness what the anti-democratic Democrats are doing to our country today. A few simple questions should be required to be answered by all potential voters trying to decide who is telling the truth and who they should vote for. Which party is the party who wants to change the 1st and 2nd Amendments to the Constitution? Which party wants to do away with the “Electoral College”? Which party wants to pack the Supreme Court with like minded liberals exclusively? And, which party wants to add two states (a U.S territory and a District), (Puerto Rico and Wash. D.C.) to become the 51st and 52nd states, knowing that they are overwhelmingly Democrat? As you've probably have guessed, it is not the Republican Party who wants these changes, it is the Democrat Party who loudly proclaims that the Republicans want to “undermine our democracy”. Would you call that the height of hypocrisy? So, in 2024, you will have the choice of two political philosophies, the party free enterprise capitalism, and limited government (the Republicans), or the party of promoting a form of Marxism/Socialism (the Democrats). It should be a no-brainer, but it will be a difficult choice for many young voters who have been indoctrinated in our left-leaning schools and universities into believing that our country is an oppressive and racist country, which is totally devoid of any empirical historical facts. Elections have consequences, so it is important that voters who want to save our country from ruin, vote for candidates that believe in limited government and the rule of law. Those candidates are the one's representing the Republican Party. Now go out and vote for candidates who will uphold our Democratic Republic, and not the one's who really want to destroy it. Conservative Commentary by Chuck Lehmann Let's first define what “Dereliction of Duty” is: “It is the shameful failure to fulfill one's obligation”. Using that definition, how can so-called leaders of a nation (in this case the United States of America), go before the public and proclaim that our southern border is secure when on the T.V. you see over 12,000 illegal migrants crossing over our border in a 24 hour period? Could or should those leaders be brought up on charges of not doing their job, a case of “dereliction of duties”?
It has been reported that just in the past month alone, more than 2 football stadiums with a capacity of over 100,000 seats, would be filled by the hordes of illegal migrants crossing our border. That is a disgrace and a national security problem as some of migrants are coming from countries that we do not get along with, in fact, many are outright hostile to our country, and we are letting them in, unvetted, against existing law. So if our leaders are letting these unauthorized people into our country and they have the authority to stop the flow, isn't that an act of “dereliction of duty”? A country without borders really isn't a country anymore, it is just a way station for anybody from another country to come into our country to enjoy the fruits of our liberty that we are supposed to offer legitimate citizens of our country, but they seem to reap the benefits and the largess over and above what our citizens are entitled to. To permit this situation to metastasize like they have, to me, meets the definition of “dereliction of duty”. As part of the Democrats campaign strategy for 2024, they are using personal vilification of members of the opposite party (especially using the term Hitler and Fascist) instead of championing the policies they have put in place when they took control. The latest polling by reputable research firms seems to suggest that the American people are not buying what the Biden Administration is trying to tout as a success story. Instead of keeping the policies of his predecessor, Donald Trump, that were mainly working for the benefit of the United States, Biden, by pique and animus, canceled most of those policies which has resulted in the problems our country faces today. You could say that by doing away with workable policies of border control, energy exploration, crime prevention, a strong and forceful foreign policy, and executive orders that do not meet the smell test, Biden has actually been guilty of “dereliction of duty”. The 81 year old Biden says he is determined to run for reelection regardless what the polls say today. Even prominent members of his own party are dropping hints that the Democrats should be looking for an alternative candidate otherwise they feel they might lose the election with Biden heading the ticket. So with Biden's policies going over like a lead balloon in the minds of the electorate, you'd think that Biden would put aside his ego and realize that it would be a “dereliction of duty” by him to continue on his quest for a second term. It'll be interesting to see what will happen in the future and to see if common sense will prevail. Conservative Commentary by Chuck Lehmann |
