Chuck on the right side
THIS IS A BLOG THAT TRIES TO APPEAL TO THE AVERAGE CONSERVATIVE CITIZEN AND HAS NO AGENDA OTHER THAN TELLING THE TRUTH AS WE SEE IT.
Seven year old Jaslyn Adams died on April 17th in Chicago. She was killed in a hale of bullets at a McDonalds drive thru, which also seriously wounded her father, her death held little significance for the media and race baiters, since her three assailants were believed to be black. Jaslyn, who was also black, had her whole life ahead of her to fulfill her dreams and bring joy to her parents.
By contrast, a black felon with a rap sheet listing 8 jail terms with various minor charges of drugs, theft, and aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon, has been memorialized, just short of beatification, because it was said, that he was turning his life around and his death was attributed to unlawful restrain by one of the cops.
It didn't matter that George Floyd was arrested for trying to make a purchase with a counterfeit bill, or his system contained high levels of fentanyl and methamphetamines while turning his life around. What mattered to the left was that the police were white.
Although there's room for police reform, the solutionists are missing the core of the problem. It isn't systemic racism, but the lack of traditional paternal family values in 70% of African American homes. Fatherless homes aren't unique just to this group, but in others; and not in this exorbitant proportion.
If the needle is to move favorably, black youths must stop listening to the woke elite, who use them to advance their own agendas. They must stop being stupid wise guys, and adhere to law enforcement directives if detained. They also must look for role models other than in entertainers and sports figures, whose motives and judgement are morally in question. They must stop leaning on the victim mentality for their own failures. And they have to put a stop to fatherless families and bare some responsibility for the dark side their attitude creates.
