Chuck on the right side
THIS IS A BLOG THAT TRIES TO APPEAL TO THE AVERAGE CONSERVATIVE CITIZEN AND HAS NO AGENDA OTHER THAN TELLING THE TRUTH AS WE SEE IT.
A port of entry into the United States is not 1954 miles long on the southern border. A lawful port of entry is a place where goods and people are allowed passage in orderly and controlled environments, for security, economic, health and other reasons, to preserve the rights and safety of its citizens.
There are entities in the country who do not believe in law and order, when it doesn't conform to their political agenda, creating chaos. Their latest contention is the separation of a child from its parent. The condition created solely by the victims.
It's shameful that a parent would use their child to gain sympathy for reason to break the law and claim asylum wrongfully. Almost all of them have not been persecuted or threatened, but caught in poverty because of inept governing and greedy leaders. That's not America's problem. We have our own to contend with.
Irresponsible parenting has created 10,000 unaccompanied children, wandering or controlled by coyotes exploiting the dire situation; putting their daughters in the grip of human trafficking and a life of prostitution, or a son winding up with MS13, with only violence to look forward to. We processed Hungarian refugees from the revolution in 1953 and Vietnamese after the war in 1975, with a semblance or order because they entered our country lawfully, through designated ports of entry. The felons breaking across our border forcefully without vetting, need verification of relationship with the other 2000 children in question, in order to qualify for asylum. Separation is a matter of hours, not months or years.
If conditions in some cases fall short, it is because the situation is overwhelming. Perhaps these caring critics will allow the unfortunate, caught in the political tug of war, to camp out on their immaculate lawns, or the socialist Argentine, Pope Francis, who resides behind a walled sovereign state, well protected, allow Muslim refugees from North Africa squat on the square behind its walls of the Vatican. The Pope's lecture about humanitarianism should be directed toward the Catholic nations these unfortunate souls come from rather than lecture our President about humanitarianism.
Clean thine own house before telling others to clean theirs.
